Benjamin 2015

This year has been pretty great. A lot has gone on and changed for the better.

One of the biggest highlights of my year was getting my '65 Mustang running and driving. As some of you know I had been feverishly working on the car to get it done to use it on my drivers license test. I ended up getting it running and driving just enough for me to use it for the test, and I passed!!!

That had to be one of the happiest moments of my life. All of the time/money I put into the car was finally worth it.

Since then I have worked on the car more and got it running really well. Its a ton of fun to drive around and it hauls butt! I still have a ton of work left on it but it will be finished some day.

Along with the the Mustang I have still been working on my 76' international scout. I am currently removing the engine I put in last year to put in a newer fuel injected LS Corvette engine. It should be pretty fun once it's done. I plan on driving that on a daily basis when I'm done with it. It's just so much fun to drive around wth no roof or doors. People love it!

Swim season this year was very successful. I swam some of my fastest times ever and I am very proud where I ended my swimming career. At the end of the season I was awarded the MVP award which I was very grateful for.

The last swim meet was very hard for me. I've been swimming since I was 5 and it all came to and end. But I am happy with how I have done. I will probably swim in college if I decide to but I'm not 100% sure yet.

Another really exciting part of my year is my new job. Just a couple months ago I got hired at the Leesburg Regional Airport as an airplane mechanic. I am learning a ton and having a really good time. I'm so grateful for this opportunity and can't wait to see where it takes me.

Oh yes, and I've been plugging away at school too. I've been taking classes at Lake Sumter State College for the last year. This coming spring (2016) I plan to join the Mount Dora High School Track team. I've always wanted to try it out so I can't put it off any longer since I'm a senior. I'm also in my last year of robotcis. I have been in robotics since 7th or 8th grade and I love it. Just yesterday we launched our new build season.

Over all this year has been really exciting for me. I have learned so much.
